Lydia Green
Hi, welcome and thank you for taking the time to view my page.
I would like to tell you a bit about myself.
I have always enjoyed drawing but didn't get serious about it until 2003 when I met my next door neighbour Alice McLaughlin, which I found out was a well known local artist in Apple Tree Creek, Queensland. Unfortunately life got in the way and my hobby was put aside.
In 2015 I thought I would get back to it, so, I bought my materials, some books to teach me how to draw and I was again inspired to take up the hobby I enjoyed, among others.
For the first year I taught myself, then decided to go to TAFE to learn more, but I wasn't learning what I needed, so I looked for a one on one tutor and I found Bev Jacobs, she helped me improve by leaps and bounds and I found that I was enjoying our Friday mornings and I am actually happy with the quality of my work, but then I'm bias, I will leave it up to you to judge for yourselves. I hope you enjoy my work, as much as I enjoyed creating it.
I am available for portraits of loved ones including your fur babies, so if you are interested check out my gallery and then if you want to commission a painting contact me and we can settle on what you would like. Prices vary according to medium and size, please check the Prices page.
I'm also available for one on one lessons in drawing and painting, also patchwork (including teddy bears) for anyone interested, don't be shy to contact me either email or phone.
